It is a wonderful thing to know that such a community exists and is my pleasure to be part of the Community. It is my first time here and this will be my first entry also here. I am super excited knowing fully well that this is a virgin community and with the roadmap for 2022, good things are gonna happen here and this is why I key in since is still the dew of the day.

We all know that everything that has advantages also has disadvantages and too much of something is not good for the health. Although, agrochemical was provided to improve the well-being of crops the excessive use of it has started to affect crops and the environment at large drastically.

3 merits of Agrochemical on farming

Agrochemical has played a vital role in making sure that farmers smile heavily and return home with money bags. It has helped to improve the massive supply of crops in the market with the help or without the effort of the farmer.

• Soil Conditioners; Agrochemical has helped in the conditioning of the soil in such a way that manure, compost, livestock manure, and leaves. All these are laid on the soil to improve the quality of the in-term water holding capacity of the soul and enhance the aeration.

• Difficult Task Can be Achieved in Quick in Session; The use of mechanisms in the operation of the lands can be done in a quick session than human labor. It helps to quicken the large workload within a few hours.

• Fertiliser; Agrochemical comes in a form of a chemical compound that is used for promoting plant growth. They are used to mitigate nutrient deficiency in the crop. Explanatory goes to plant tissues or soil. Fertiliser is classified into 2 categories, which are organic and inorganic fertiliser. Organic fertiliser is said to be natural existing fertiliser while inorganic is manufactured artificially using chemical processes by utilizing natural deposits which are altered chemically.

Having looked at the merits or advantages of agrochemicals, we move our mindset to the demerit of disadvantages.

3 Demerits of Agrochemical On Farming

• It makes water unfit for consumption; The introduction of agrochemical makes water unfit for human consumption especially polluting the water and not human beings that suffer this effect, the aquatic animals are also misplaced through the introduction of these chemicals in the environment.

• Residues and particles of this chemical lead to air pollution; Anything introduced into the air to kill pesticides and if not properly controlled becomes dangerous to human health. Most of the chemicals used to get rid of pesticides are all harmful and that is it well written, keep out of reach of children, and this chemical is dispatched into the air, it becomes hazardous to human health.

• Kill Soil Organism; Naturally, every soil comes with its organism and the outbreak of agrochemical kills the natural soil organism that comes with the soil naturally thus, bringing about low yield to that particular land area.

Having mentioned the advantages and disadvantages of agrochemical on farming most especially citing the demerit in area of soil, water, and air, now is about to dive into recommendation on to improve it.

Recommendations that could improve the use of agrochemical on farming.

The use of Agrochemical is good in all-round ramifications but too much of it is bad and unhealthy to some crops and human factors as a whole. We all know this agrochemical is executed to make work safe and fast but at the same time, it endangers people's lives and causes high alarm to the crops. So to my best knowledge, I think agrochemical should be used but not irrational and this too much of it has brought unemployment to laborers that seek jobs in this department.
