Wheat is planted at different times depending on a region's weather conditions. Some farmers grow theirs in the winter while others grow theirs in the fall.
Wheat kernel
The mature wheat kernel (caryopsis) is composed of approximately 83 percent endosperm, 14.5 per cent bran, and 2.5 percent embryo. Once germination starts, the endosperm provides the developing plant with an energy source until its roots are established and newly expanded leaves allow it to harvest energy from the sun. The embryo of the mature wheat kernel has already undergone the first stages of plant development before the kernel is separated from the parent plant. In a mature kernel the embryo includes the coleoptile, which protects the first leaf as it pushes its way through the soil to the surface during germination, the radicle, which becomes the first root, and primodia, which develop into the first three leaves and seminal roots.
WHEAT GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
The ten major growth stages that the wheat plant progresses through during its life cycle are all familiar to farmers:
- Germination, imbibition, radicle and coleoptile emerge
- Seedling
- Tillering
- Stem elongation or Jointing
- Booting
- Heading
- Flowering or Anthesis
- Milk
- Dough
- Ripening
Diammonium phosphate (DAP) is the world's most widely used phosphorus fertilizer. It’s made from two common constituents in the fertilizer industry, and its relatively high nutrient content and excellent physical properties make it a popular choice in farming and other industries.
Uses Of DAP:
Forty kilos of seeds, a sack of DAP Half a sack of Zorwar flood on the first water and two days after irrigation, half a sack of urea and two kilos of bio-sulfur were coated in the evening. * After putting sulfur on top of urea, rub the urea with lightly wet hands and then leave it for half an hour, thus the layer of sulfur on urea will freeze which will increase the efficiency of urea. Tri-Ultra has been chosen for the herbicide spray, which is effective for both sharp and broad-leaved herbs.
