HIS PISTOL WAS HER TARGET

Well, for the sake of fairness and justice, the case is still under investigation and the officer in question has been redeployed to another command.
But wait a minute, if this case happens to be true as revealed in the newspaper, what are the lessons to learn or perhaps, the implications?
As it were, the uniform of a force man makes people to easily identify the institution he belongs to and also accorded due respect.

Even at that, there are some fellows who care the less about uniforms and what they represent. As long as there is no gun attached to a man in uniform, these fellows will disrespect him, his uniform and the institution he belongs, just the same way they disrespect some unarmed paramilitary outfits today.

But the gun of a force man is his constitutional arsenal power that makes the populace to fear him, obey him and respect him under certain sensitive situations. Remove the gun of a force man, he will be treated like any other ordinary citizen.

The office of a force man is the "sacred" jurisdiction that symbolizes the true image of what his institution represents administratively. The office of duty of any officer 👮 should be treated with high level of sanctity.
The rank of a force man is his operational staff of authority in a given command. So, by every standard, it's sacrilegious to desecrate the sanctity of such institution and even profaner to have a service pistol missing after an illicit sexual affair.

However, is this officer in question the first culprit of this kind of offense? Of course not! In as much as such indulgence is highly condemnable, alot of people out there are the first to chant the songs of crucifixion against this officer without knowing that the remaining four fingers of their chants are pointing back at them. So many people have long ago lost their own pistols unknown to them.

This ugly headline is a strong warning to us as soldiers of the cross in the Heavenly Armed Forces. Alot of us are still wearing the uniform of Christianity but without pistols. Most of our pistols (power) have been stolen right in our various duty posts by some beautiful ladies that we allowed into our offices for illicit affairs like sexual immorality, embezzlement of church funds, ungodly politicking of all sorts, selfishness, self aggrandised or ill motivated projections, unforgiving spirit, pride, anger etc.

The target of those beautiful ladies in our Christian offices is not to steal our monies. But their target is to steal our Pistols, desecrate the sanctity of the church, make us newspaper headlines and rubbish our integrity, so that God will be provoked to remove us from the position He has placed us and redeploy us to a place of sorrow after our years of labor in His vineyard. They are simply there to disgrace us and deprive us of our rewards at last.
It was on duty post that a long time trailing lady came to visit Moses in the wilderness. Immediately Moses gave her the slightest chance, she made Moses to lose the pistol that guarantees his entrance to the promise land after working so hard for 40 years. The name of that lady is "Miss Anger".
Eli lost his tribal covenant priestly pistol on the platter of indecisive actions against his misbehaving sons.

It was right on duty that the man of God from Judah lost his prophetic pistol to a lady called "the old prophet", on a platter of delicious delicacies. The young man of God from Judah was another threatening version of Elijah that was radically rising with speed against the kingdom of darkness. So they planned everything to stop the young man of God and rubbish his immediate past legacies. He was speedily trailed by the old prophet on his way back to Judah and he fell for it.

Samson was also carrying out his God's assigned office of saving the children of Israel from the Philistines. It was in that same office of duty that he lost his pistol (ie strength) on the platter of sexual immorality with Delilah, who was projected to him by the Philistines. All these Bible characters made Bible headline news for the wrong reasons at the point they lost their pistols.

Beloved, are you still with your own pistol? Or are you just living in the glory of the uniform of Christianity without a pistol? The moment the kingdom of darkness steal your pistol (ie quench the power of God in you), you become an ordinary fearless foe to them. Don't make the headline news for the wrong reasons.
