The Debate (no.18); homeschooling is better than traditional schooling

Homeschooling can be defined as the education of children at home by their parents, it is also a process by which a child's education takes place at home rather than in a (classroom) traditional school setting, in this type of learning parents act as the teacher in the type of environment and can choose from a variety of homeschooling programs for the best of their child's need, homeschooling can also be referred as online learning which occurs at home, it involves parents educating their children at home instead of sending them to public or private school.

On the other hand, traditional schooling is said to be a structured educational environment where students attend classes in the school building, following a curriculum set by the educational institutions and authorities, in this type of learning there is a set of rules and regulations set by the authorities guiding the students.

Traditional schooling is financed by the authority based on the taxes paid by the parents (school fees), teaching methods used in traditional schooling are focused on the teacher as the only source of information to the students in the classroom, it embraces the idea method of face to face interaction, mainly from the teacher to the students, traditional schools are generally stress on basics on educational practice and expect a mastery of academic learning in the subject listed by the system.

However I would like to say that homeschooling is much better than traditional schooling

homeschooling gives you freedom and flexibility to teach your child the way you want and the way your child will understand, but in traditional schooling sometimes, teachers don't give their freedom to express themselves in most cases don't know whether the students understand what he or she teaches.

Also in homeschooling, it allows students and parents to focus on the inherent talents of the child and nurture them as well, Schooling allows parents to select the method of teaching most beneficial to the child, this allows you as a parent to focus on a specific method of teaching or the subject your child is weak in, also a parent-child bond can be strengthened through homeschooling.

Nevertheless, there is less time wasted, it saves time. For many parents, their children's education is their priority and parents believe that their home is the best place for educating a child due to familiarity and controllable environment.
