Like they always say, sometimes life throws to us what we expect least and we just need to accept it as it comes. Today I will be participating in the @ashkhan in the Steem and fashion Community contest and be sharing my view of how far this year has gone.
Like they always say, pictures are a great way of sharing wonderful memories that we will not forget. Among all the picture I can pick for this contest, one of the contest that really hold a very special place in my heart is this picture because it shows the very faitjfuyday one of my very dear and childhood friend Juliet celebrating a very huge milestone in her life.
This picture was taken when she graduated from the university of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU) as a degree in Anatomy. This picture was the one that perfectly described the years of her dedication, commitment and hardwork in the university. The years she overcame every obstacle to that which she is today.
There were a whole lot of obstacles that she really faced. There are times that she felt like giving up, there are instances that she will not actually be able to afford her school fees on time and sometimes felt that is the end of the road. But there is something that keeps pushing her forward and forward till she can was able to pass through.
There was even instances whereby she was so sick and she was close to death. But thank God she skip through. Now when I looked back, I always use to wonder how God helped her to scale through. When it thought she was not able to scale through, she eventually succeeded and become a better person. The induction ceremony for her and for people that are close to her
Of course it was a very beautiful celebration for her which was filled with a whole lot of joy and the fact that the people that she loves was around her makes it to be so memorable for her. The induction ceremony as it was called was beyond the ceremony but an avenue to celebrate the passage of life and the transition or should I say a change of season whereby she is moving from being a student to being a professional as it was called.
Now whenever I remember this picture, I am always happy because I knew she was able to scale through and become a better person than she might have thought she will not have been. Now me seeing her achieve her goals make and even push me further to achieve my own goals as far as I am also determined the same way she is determined.
I invite @sahmie @pea07 , @dequeen and @mikitaly @yahnel and @m-fdo to drop a very constructive comments on this post and also to participate in this contest.
