SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 6

Pictures are meant for memories, and indeed, every picture tells a story
I al very happy to share with you all this amazing and wonderful picture, because of my good mobile phone cameras I have become porpular in my area because many people want to use my phone to snap picture.

I was called by a woman who was about to leave our military base to come and take some pictures of her so she will use it as memory, I was very happy to cover all the events so I am here to share this amazing photo with you guys.

As a Catholic family that we are anytime that someone is relocating to a different destination it's mandatory for the church to do a sent forth for the person so that she will always remember is any when she goes.
This is our culture, and we have always been doing it always, so we were very happy to celebrate with her because her husband had retired from the military.

This was a thing of joy because many started the journey with him but they are no where to be found, so for her husband to successfully complete his years of service in the Nigerian Army everyone was happy to celebrate with the family.

She was a member of the Catholic women organisation in our church, so they all gathered to celebrate with her because it was a thing of joy.
She was a very good and active member in the Catholic women organisation and was paying and contributing well to the growth of the organisation and also of the church at large.

This was a very memorable day in her life, and she was very happy to celebrate with us.
She was awarded a certificate of recognition for her dedication and commitment to the organisation.

All the people you see in that picture are members of the armed forces Catholic women organisation snd the man in the middle is our Chaplain.
He is our military priest who always says mass for us and makes sure that our spiritual life is going well.
Our priest was called by the woman to come and take a picture with us so it can serve as memory to everyone.

We wish her well in her new location, and she will always remain in our hearts because she was a very active member in our church.
Celebrating the success of others is very good because someday people will also gather to celebrate your success.
