Step 1
I drew the first half of the avocado. I began with the peduncle and then the outline of the avocado. I used a light green colour at this stage
Step 2
I drew the second half of the avocado, which is partly joined with the first half at the top. I also drew the small leaf that is attached to the peduncle. I also used a light green colour at this stage.
Step 3
I shaded the peduncle first with a light green colour and then used a brown colour at the top of the peduncle and somewhere in the middle to show that there is a little crack or tear on the peduncle. I then coloured the leaf by drawing a pattern on it with a light green colour and then shaded it completely with a dark green colour.
Step 4
I marked some spots on the skin of the first half of the avocado using a light green colour.
Step 5
I shaded the skin of the avocado completely using a dark green colour.
Step 6
I drew the seed of the avocado using a brown colour. I first drew the outline of the seed with brown colour and then used yellow colour to draw some patterns all through the seed. After the patterns, I coloured the entire seed with a brown pencil. Finally, I lightly shaded the seed again with black colour and put some dark lines around the seed.
Step 7
I concluded my drawing by colouring the inside (mesocarp) of the avocado using a yellow colour, and I applied a green colour at the edge.
