SFS Contest Image of the day Week 5

Hello friends,
With sincere love, I welcome you all to my blog. I bring you warm greetings from my part of the world, Nigeria. Success to everyone! Ofcourse it's everyone's desire to be successful which I want to specially appreciate the user @ashkhan for such an interesting contest topic that help us keep memories and also share our long time memories on past special events of our lives.

The above picture is about 3 years now, watching this picture reminds me of my Youth service year at Imo State, Nigeria. The service year is a year at which youths from different parts of Nigeria come together to mingle and learn from their different cultures. For instance, I am from Nasarawa State therefore I cannot be posted to serve in my state again because the aim of the government towards the youth service year is for an "exposure"

We were taken to camp for three good weeks, it wasn't funny but it's a mandatory course to be taken for three weeks before being dispatched again to our individual permanent place of Assignment under every youth's given state.

The coming together of grown up youths who are graduates from the University is ofcourse an amazing gathering whereby alot happens both negative and positive. Programs such as games were organised and we were all shared into different platoons which I was fortunate to fall under platoon5.

The lady on the above picture was my very close friend at the camp ground for the three weeks we spent. She is an amazing being, we've never met in life but she love me as though we new each other somewhere. She is from the eastern part of Nigeria while I came from the northern part of Nigeria.

I feel so fortunate to have graduated and serve at an early stage of my life and I must confess that meeting people of different age rate at the camp was amazing. Thank you for reading to this point friends and I am glad to share, I invite my friends to join the contest.
