During my life, there are only 2 surprising moments that I still remember until today, because those 2 surprising moments have been able to change my perspective on this world, and because those 2 surprising moments are what can make me more grateful for every destiny of God without ignoring hard work and self-confidence.

1. A pleasant surprising moment

In the 3rd grade of high school when I was still in school at the Islamic Boarding School, I dared to take part in the most prestigious competition at that time at our Islamic Boarding School, because this competition event was only held once a year on the anniversary of the Islamic Boarding School.

The competition that I took part in was a Quiz Competition which was followed by 3 people in each group, and this was the last competition that I could take part in at the Islamic Boarding School at that time, if I failed to win this competition then next year I would not be able to take part in any competition because I had graduated from high school.

What made the moment of the competition the most surprising moment for me was because in the last competition that I participated in, my group and I were able to win the competition by being ranked 1st in the Quiz competition which made the moment very surprising for me.

What made this moment so surprising was because during the 6 years that I went to school at the Islamic Boarding School I had participated in dozens of different competitions ranging from Indonesian speeches, Arabic speeches, English speeches to yellow book reading competitions, I never won a champion at all and at most I could only win 2nd place.

However, with a never give up mentality and continuing to work hard by studying harder, I was finally able to lure luck into my life so that I was able to win 1st place in the quiz competition at that time.

After this surprising moment happened, I became more aware that everything I wanted in this world I could definitely get if I continued to work hard and pray to God to help me achieve it.

2. A sad shocking moment

The second shocking moment was when one night when I was still in school at a boarding school far from my parents, suddenly I was picked up by my father at 4 am just before the dawn prayer which made me very surprised.

At that time, my father himself woke me up who was sleeping in the dormitory, with my eyes still not fully open I asked "why did you go to the boarding school dormitory this early in the morning?", in a sad tone my father answered "Auntie just died and Dad came here to pick you up to go home to attend my aunt's funeral".

Hearing this statement, my tears immediately flowed without stopping in my father's arms. What made that moment the most surprising moment was because for me my aunt played a more important role than my own mother for me at that time.

Because during my childhood I always spent time with my aunt and I rarely met my mother, and when I went to the boarding school I was separated from my aunt.

That's the reason why I love my aunt so much, from this incident I can accept God's destiny more and I don't want to continue to linger in sadness, my future is still long and I must continue to move forward to pursue my future while continuing to pray for my aunt who has passed away so that God will place her in her heaven.

These are 2 surprising moments that I experienced in my life for my participation in the "SHOCKING MOMENTS" contest organized by sister @ashkhan, I also want to invite brother @aliabid01, brother @mainuna and brother @josepha to participate together in this contest.
