I organized the Steem for Lifestyle community, conducted by @solaymann sir. 📢📢Cooking Contest Week 5: My Cooking Skills. Thanks, @solaymann sir, for organizing such a nice My Cooking Skills contest. And today I will share a puli cake recipe. This is a popular cake in our country. And it is not always made and eaten by everyone; most of the time, people actually eat this cake on winter days, but today I made this puli cake on the occasion of this contest. And through this contest, I will explain each of my pictures and words. And thank you again for organizing such a nice contest and I am going to start my post.

To make this cake, you need to use two ingredients first, which are sesame seeds and rice powder. First, the sesame should be dried in the sun, then lightly roasted in the heat of the fire, and then the bark should be removed.

Then put a pot on the stove, add enough water and sugar, and stir with enough coconut flakes. Then you have to grind those sesame seeds through a grinder and stir them for a while with hot water and sugar. After stirring for a while, you should thicken them a little and then remove them from the oven.

Then grind the rice through a grinder. Then the rice powder should be sorted through a filter. Then again, you have to thicken them with water according to your rice powder in a big bowl and stir a lot. When the rice flour thickens, take it off the stove, and you have to convert it into yeast and make small balls.

Then put the mixture made of sesame, rice flour, sugar, and coconut flakes in the middle of that small, round bread. Then, by sticking it on both sides with the help of your hand, you have to make a beautiful design that you can see on the screen. In this way, after making some puli cake by hand and arranging them, you have to fry the cake in oil or steam them in hot water, and I fried them in oil.

Then I put a pot on the stove and put soybean oil in it. After the soybean oil is boiling hot, I put the hand-made raw cake in it. Then I flipped the cake every now and then and waited for it to be fully fried. Then, when the cake are fried, we put them in a bowl, as you can see. Once my entire puli cake was made, I ate the puli cake for a while and then felt like taking a selfie with my recipe as per the community guidelines. Then I put some cake in my hand and took a selfie with her, and I completed my post.
