YES, schools should teach financial literacy as a mandatory subject. Why I accept the teaching of financial literacy in schools because of how crucial financial literacy is for helping individuals manage money effectively, make informed financial decisions, and avoid spending money unnecessarily or making a poor budget.
Teaching financial literacy in schools will help prepare students for real-world challenges such as understanding credit cards, investments, loan taxes, and the importance of saving for the future. Early education in financial literacy can help to empower students to have a strong financial foundation, fostering long-term economic stability and financial independence.
The truth of the matter is that everyone needs the knowledge of financial literacy, as we all make use of finances in our daily lives knowing financial literacy one would be able to build a solid financial foundation for himself or herself. It is the lack of financial literacy that most young people don't have is the reason why most people are living a lifestyle that is higher than what they earn.
By making financial literacy mandatory, schools would ensure that all students regardless of their background, have access to these essential life skills that help people to become successful and financially free.
I am inviting my friends; @dave-hanny, @ruthjoe, and @vickyson to also join me.
