I prefer working from home, and this is due to some reasons which includes;

  • Working from home helps you to manage your time more efficiently and with less distractions.

  • You have the right to create your schedule by yourself, you decide the time that best suits you to work.

  • It is very flexible, resulting to easy balance of personal life and work.

  • It reduces cost and expenses, as you won't be needing money for fuel purchase, public transport, nor work clothes etc.

  • And lastly,, it enhances healthy diet and regular exercise leading to overall well-being.

Office environment affects my mood both positively and negatively...

The positive effect of office environment in my mood is;

  • The comfortable temperature I enjoy in the office often improves my mood and helps with stress reduction. And also, the way workspace is being designed in the office usually enhances good posture for work which improves my mood.

The negative effect of office environment on my mood is;

  • The excessive noise pollution that is usually in the office environment often makes me feel less comfortable and it increases stress. With the kind of crowd that is usually in the office, ventilation is often not enough for me, it causes me feelings of irritability. My mood in the office can also be low as a result of unfriendly decor and unrelaxed seating.

Yes,, I really do miss social interactions when working remotely...

Each time I work remotely,, I usually have this feeling of loneliness and isolation,, I often misses the interaction and conversation I do have with colleagues at work.

I really love gist,, so each time I work remotely, there is this feeling I usually have within me about missing out in a crucial discussion or conversation.

Interacting socially and connecting with other people are very crucial for our well-being, both mentally, psychologically and emotionally. So working remotely will definitely make one to miss all of these.
