Today I will be sharing one recipe which I have tried so many times but sharing the recipe for the first time. It is one of the traditional food of my country. This pitha is as beautiful to look at as it is delicious to eat. Locally, this pitha is called "Malpoua Pitha". Let's start,

Making Process


Step- I

First I gathered all the ingredients to prepare this pitha. I cut the jaggery into thin slices on a plate. Then I heated water in a pan and mixed it into a liquid. I will make pitha with this liquid of jaggery.

Adding rice flour

Then I boiled jagerry water well. After boiled well, I added 1 and half cup of rice flour. Mixed it evenly. Mixed the ingredients with spoon and Don't forget to turn of the stove in this step.


Step-III

Cover the mixture

Then I cover the mixture for atleast 2-3 hours. This is a mendatory task for better result.

Then I heat oil. Take a round spoon so that the ammout of mixture remain same for all cake(pitha). I take one spoon mixture and pour it in pan. Wait for a while and done. The it turn into brown take it from oil.

Final Look

As I dont like oil so I put it on a tissue paper so that it absorb the excessive oil. How this was all about our traditional malpoua pitha which is a desert item.
