SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 16

Alhamdulillah, this week I feel happy and joyful because I can see my nephew again after a month. Yesterday my niece named ''Alifa" turned two months old.

After a month in my residential area, my niece had to be taken home by her parents to her hometown, when my sister gave birth she stayed here temporarily waiting for herself to recover from giving birth to a beautiful little baby.

A month ago when they came home, I really missed the sweet baby, so did my daughter, she always told me to go there to visit the baby, if not she always told me to make a video call so she could see them clearly.

I was also happy to hear the news that they were here at her in-laws' place, their purpose in coming home was to go to the hospital for treatment. My sister had problems with her digestion and had to consult a doctor. Where they live there are no hospitals and doctors, they live in a mountainous area, where there are only palm oil, rubber and betel nut plantations.

At night when I was free, I took my daughter to their place and there my daughter immediately went inside to hug the baby. How happy she was that she didn't want to go home, my daughter wanted to stay overnight at their house.

This sweet baby grew up fast, I was fascinated by her cute face and liked the smell of babies. Not long after, this baby was fussy. It seemed she was sleepy, her mother tried to calm her down and put her in the swing. Then this baby seemed calm. Slowly her eyes began to close and my daughter continued to be beside her until the sweet baby really fell asleep.

Because the baby was asleep, my daughter and I had to go home. Tomorrow we will visit baby Alifa again, because this longing has not healed.
