Working from home never existed in the past |

You and I clearly know that working from home is very rare in the olden days especially in the past but now we are in the era of technology, alot of people now work from their home with their phones or laptop without having to pay for transportation fare to their place of work or go out when is raining. I appreciate the contest host @sahmie for organizing this contest. Am a big fan of working from home especially in weekdays.
Which do you prefer: working from home or the office? |

Based on my introduction is obvious that I prefer working at home. I started working at home last year November because I really needed enough time to study for the numerous exams I wrote this year. I was always busy at home and lack of electricity was always bringing me down but is no longer worst like before. Working at home brings higher peace of mind and privacy, am an independent person who always enjoy being alone for the mean time, trying to achieve my set out goals and this takes alot of concentration and discipline.
Does working from home boost your productivity? |

Yes it does boost my productivity, my home is my comfort zone and I really love the place alot even if is not quiet all the time. I have always wanted to work from home because I have been aware of it's advantages. When I work at home I get maximum opportunity to focus, I plan myself the previous day and most times I work according to my time table, I don't fail to workout and study as well.
Working at home has made my work faster because that time am supposed to be using to walk to the office, I use it to do something important at home on my working table. My work is always done quickly because the rate of distractions is very low. Most times I enjoy working in early mornings when a new day has just began because the entire environment is always calm and friendly.
How does the office environment affect your mood? |

Office is mostly a busy place where you see alot of people, such a place is very noisy at times and people bump into me with some unnecessary talks I never bargained for. People don't also like minding their business and I must tell you that the office environment is mostly uncomfortable especially when you are working for someone over there. Human wants are insatiable and sometimes we still receive complaints from the boss even when we didn't do anything wrong.
Do you miss social interactions when working remotely? |

Yes I do miss the social part abit and not much because I currently live with my family and I interact with them each time they are back from work and school. The social media is also present so I interact with different people online in so many platforms. People do meet me for advice and suggestions too and I try my best to give them the best I can, most time they get satisfied with my talk and they never fail to thank me. I eat well, to ensure that I don't get tired because if I get tired I will also get bored.

Working from home can be satisfying. But it has its cons, especially in third world countries where you have epileptic power supply and in worst cases, poor internet connection.
There is this network that crawls like a snail. The other one wakes up wherever it deems fit.
I get your concerns about people barging into the office often. It is never a pleasant experience, especially for introverts and ambiverts.

Yeah yeah yeah 😉. Poor network is also a constant problem we face at home and this is one of the reasons I mostly work around 4am because there's always strong network in the earliest hours of the day.

Lol, as for me, most times I get to stay outside even when is raining or when the sun is very hot.
The situation is now worst now because each time I try to sit down the network becomes very slow and disappears sometimes so I must stand and most times I even raise my hands up. I have done this before for two hours unintentionally 🤧💔.
It seems there's maximum network in the sky, I dislike poor network alot snd it always come all of a sudden, you can't predict when it will come.

I once told someone that I might climb a tree with my phone someday.

Climb tree abi 😂 😂. You are blowing my mind. Sometimes I remain outside till 11pm and mosquito will want to finish me, is not easy at all.
Good network gives joy alot and I don't hesitate to do something very meaningful online each time network is very fast. So many things are wrong in Nigeria, the country really needs an all around development.

I have worked offline and online
I can easily say that it is better to work from home because you will have time to do other things
At the same time, you won’t have to spend extra money on transportation fare
