Mobile phone, a successor of the olden telephone is something that has gained popularity around the world. It is proven that more than 70% of the world's population uses this device on a daily basis. In the school curriculum, some people really need this device to be with students and teachers for easy learning.
According to them, The smart phone is a bank of knowledge a student can tap from. On the other hand, other people believe that it's a great source of distraction. In my Opinion, I strongly affirm that phones should not be allowed in school. Permit me to back up this point with these facts.
My Proven Facts |
---|
- A Great Distracting Tool: Mobile phone under several age grades has different functions. The advanced age grades (adults and the aged) uses it for beneficial purposes like communication, information sourcing, etc. But in the hands of children, it can easily reflect their individual minds. Since their minds isn't developed yet, it tend to draw their attention towards studies in school.
Obsession::This fact should not be under looked because it's really important. Since phones are actually new to them, they will love to explore more about the device. While exploring this device, it can lead to obsession over the mobile phone. This developed obsession by the children can divert their mind from their studies.
Unsafe Online Space: This is another disastrous effect. Some schools which permit their students yielding mobile phones must provide Internet hotspot which students can connect. Apart from fetching information from online source, students can actually divert to unsafe space like nudity, pornography and other sexual related spaces in the internet world. This can affect and corrupt their mindset. The funny thing about children is that they tend to emulate anything they see. That's why mobile phone's yielding by children shouldn't encouraged.
Conclusively, despite the fact that mobile phones is a source of information for students, we should under look the potential effects that can bring. That's why it shouldn't be encouraged. Children who have access to mobile phones should be closely monitored by the parents or guardians.

Yes, obsession.
Naturally, a young person is wired to be curious, to search, to explore and this leads to more attention being paid to finding out more and from my perspective, young people love every other thing apart from studying with a physical note.
Though this obsession can lead to positive results like the discovery of another technological device, it can also lead to the addiction to screens that it will take the individual so much to stay focused outside a screen.
