I have woken up to a frozen shoulder often, and my day ended in pain and an inability to complete certain tasks. Our shoulder is like a door hinge but more movable than a door hinge in that it can move up and down, side to side, and almost all around, but as we get older things change; as our door gets rusty, which could be associated with old age, it becomes hard for it to move the way it should; for a door lock, you grease or change it; for your shoulder, you need to do some special exercise like what we have below, and a therapist like @ashkhan can help, and she is making us understand the concepts better. This is a more simplified explanation or definition of frozen shoulder.
What is a frozen shoulder? |

A frozen shoulder is a condition where a person's shoulder becomes stiff, that is, immovable, painful, and difficult to move past the range it once moved (limited mobility).
My approach to the diagnosis of a frozen shoulder |

Clinical investigation or assessment test
First, the patient is the first to make a complaint before proceeding, that is, to take a vital science where the patient will be diagnosed. This is done by asking the patient a series of questions to confirm the category of frozen shoulder it belongs to, whether it is primary or secondary. If the patient slept and woke up to immobility of the hands to a certain range, then it is a frozen shoulder. Now perform a clinical check by palpating some areas mentioned by the patient, that is the affected area and see if there is joint tenderness. Ask the patient to observe some activities and see the range to which the hands can move. Then it can now be diagnosed as a frozen shoulder. Both clinical investigation and assessment tests are necessary for determining a frozen shoulder, depending on whether it is primary or secondary.

My feeling after the exercise |
---|
This exercise was not performed when I woke to a frozen shoulder, but this time I was healthy. I mean, nothing was wrong with my shoulder, but after this, I felt some flexibility in my muscle, especially when I performed the shoulder circle. I heard some cracks, like if bones were colliding together; the same was the case with the other 2 exercises I performed.
I would love to see @ngoenyi, @bossj23, and @mostofajaman join this contest.
