Few trees resist wind and intense heat, especially nearby beaches.

The Sloth Tree (Árvore da Preguiça) is one of them. The name of the tree came from the difficulty of growing the tree. It looks like it is scratching with serious branches extending more than 4 meters from roots.

All of this caused by strong winds and trees do not have enough strength to climb up.
