19 years ago today, the U.S. Government illegally invaded #Iraq, and killed over a million Iraqis - 500,000 of who were children under the age of 12.
These photos of five-year-old Samar Hassan were taken right after U.S. soldiers murdered both her parents on January 18, 2005.
This harrowing image were captured by war-photographer, Chris Hondros, in 2005. Sadly, in 2011, Chris Hondros was killed while covering the NATO war on Libya.
