Steemit Engagement Challenge - S6W3: My High School Experience.

Introduction

Hello friends, welcome to my blog, the face of life which comes with a lot to learn at the high school level, there we get to meet with the good, the bad, and the ugly. but the purpose is the key driving factor that will keep us on point till we get to achieve our goal of graduating from high school.

Applause to STEEM INDONESIA For coming up with this interesting view on the Steemit Engagement Challenge - S6W3 for Athenians to talk about The most beautiful experience in high school and I shall be making my entry today.

What things did you dislike in high school?

There are some things I dislike while in high school, though some of them make me learn some life lessons and I improve by the day.

I dislike early morning class, I get to play football much in the evening time after school, so waking up in the morning to get ready for school is difficult but I still try to meet up with the school before it is time. I also dislike being flogged, I was very stubborn when I was in high school, not a day that will pass without being flogged. Lastly, I dislike being bugged with many assignments during weekends aswell, I prefer few assignments so that I can go to my football matches during weekends.

What was your horror experience at school?

My horror experience was when I indulge in a fight with my schoolmate, he insulted my mother and out of anger I hit him, when he wanted to hit me back I shifted so the hit could not get me, and he reacted and holds me to fight, in the process I pushed him then he hit his head on the wall and blood started coming out of his head. I was issued a suspension note for a week for that act. But when I came back after the suspension, everybody start calling me the nickname DE~COMMANDO, I like the name anyway. To date, some of my high school friends still call me commando.

What was your unforgettable high school experience?

My unforgettable experience is kind of funny though. A lady I helped and she copied answers from me during the exams passed and I failed. I was so annoyed that I had to go and meet my teacher to confess and ask why, he said I copied from her because her handwriting was fine than mine and her script was marked before my own.

I notice she use to allow me to submit before her so that her script will be above mine, I learned a very big lesson, since that time, I am always the last to submit my script to avoid stories that touch the heart, and I worked on improving my handwriting.

What was your unforgettable experience when you entered high school?

My first day in high school started with a very bad experience. I was a new student in the school, so I was standing outside waiting for my father to come to take me for registration so that I will know my class, a prefect just came and ask me to follow him. I thought it was my father that sent him to call me so I followed him.

He join me among the defaulters for the punishment of standing outside while the lesson is ongoing, I try explaining to him that I am a first-timer but he could not listen. Before my father could come and locate me, I had already done all the punishment I was asked to do.

What happened until now that you can't forget?

I can never forget when I was mistaken for someone and I was given 200 nairas. A man came and gave our headteacher NGN200 to give to his son in SS1, and on the note, he wrote "give to jerry SS1" though we have two jerry in SS1 I was the popular Jerry (De Commando). The prefect brought the money to me and said my father asked him to give me, I was so surprised because I know my father traveled and was not in the state. I did not argue I collected the money and spent it because I was even hungry when he brought the money.

I was later asked to pay back the money but I said I am not refunded because I have spent it and I don't have any money, after a long deliberation it was concluded that it was not my fault so I am not paying.

What life experiences can you take in high school?

A lot of life experience can be driven while in high school and I have learned. The high school helped me to be disciplined and also focus. High school also make me meet a lot of people from whom I learned different perspectives about life. In high, I also had experience in different lines of the profession to pursue at the tertiary level which I had a guide on the profession I am currently practicing.

Early morning class is one of the things i dont like as well but high school was fun. I enjoy reading through your articles you really had a good experience during your school days. Best of luck.
