On clean nights with no moon in sight and much softness in the air, the Milky Way has the appearance of a soft band of stars that comes alive in its beauty to every stargazer who dares to gaze at it. This galaxy consists of billions of stars and gives a small appreciation of the vastness of the universe and therefore makes the viewer ask where they belong in this vast expanse of space.

It is darkness that also needs nurture and the stars start appearing from their long delicateness as one can see them strewn across the darkness with the light the size of that of Singing. The core of the galaxy besides resisting attention is a very busy one. It consists of stellar swarms, color reflecting dust, nebulae, and various fragments of space. In that pin prick of light, however, lies a great deal of activity – some ancient, light that has been travelling for too many millions of years.

This experience is even better when one finds a perfect location that is away from the city lights. Subtle Long Inahaway more ethereal than any other blanket, lie on your back outside and feel the caress of the cool night breeze, and open your eyes toward the heavens. The setting of the evening also lets the person think and every now and again allows the eye to close to remind the soul that there exists other things in this world besides what the eye sees every day.

For a passionate fan or even for a spectator for the first time, watching the Milky Way is an exhilarating and humbling event. It also reminds us of our place in the cosmos, triggering interest in stars that attracted humankind from the very beginning.
