Autumn's Embrace: A Lowly Bench by the Trees

When autumn sets in with the coolness in the air and the leaves begin to turn into warm shades of orange, red, and gold, the parks turn into an inspirational and healing place. Just one out of a few round metal benches look up to one of the spreading branches of a large tree, which is an ideal place to admire the beauty of seasons at its rest. The leaves are dry and crackle as the wind blows fresh into the lungs at the air which perfumes everything outside reaching for the tranquility offered by nature.

Thus while seated on the bench, you can gaze at the green leaves of the trees, fall down one after the other, and notice how life revolves in circles. People pass with family; they are all within ear distance and so is the sound of their branches moving. Others sit still read books, some think. The slender rays of warm sunlight penetrate easily through the treetop foliage instead showing patterns of varied shapes on the earth.

The time of the year is invariably one of introspection since the year is almost at the tail end. It urges people to take things slow and enjoy the everyday pleasures that they may have forgotten. A park full of colors and still walks on benches for the minds to be less constricted, becomes a comforting place where restful ideas can come forth. From this eyrie, tucked under the branches of trees, there is an appreciation of the season that gives succour in the busy world that one is embedded.
