The first round of the UEFA EUROS 2020 has officially come to a humble end. We have seen some really great performances from the various European Countries.
From the very start of the competition, the teams like Italy, Belgium, Portugal and Netherlands really impressed the football world and have really exhibited their scoring prowess.
We saw some rather unfortunate incidents, where Danish footballer, Christian Eriksen, collapsed during the Denmark-Finland game. The player was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a cardiac arrest but he reported fine. The football world was very happy with the news. Not forgettting the heroics of Simon Kjaer, his teammate and captain, who was able to quickly turn him over and prevent him from swallowing his tongue.

The competition has seen an average of 1.17 Goals per Game and has recorded 28 Goals, with Patrik Schik(Czech Rep.), Romelu Lukaku(Belgium) and Cristiano Ronaldo(Portugal) being the combined top goal scorers, all having 2 Goals each.
Quite a solid start for some of these teams. The favorites of this competition are really showing their worth and pulling their weights.

Which goal is your goal of the week? Personally, I can't pick between Patrik Schik's 49-Yard stunner against Scotland, Robert Mak's drilling shot that caused the own-goal against Poland or Cristiano Ronaldo's goal against Hungary.
I am expecting another thrilling round of football. I feel Germany and Poland are going to rise to the occasion and suprise the world with a comeback and prove their opponents wrong. What do you think?
