Manchester City defeated Borussia Dortmund 2:1 to advance to the semifinals of the tournament. Jude Bellingham opened the scoring for the hosts, while Riyad Marez and Phil Foden scored for the visitors.
In the 15th minute of the match, the home team managed to take the lead. Jude Bellingham picked up the ball in the opposition penalty area and headed it into the top corner with an easy shot.
On 52 minutes, the visitors were awarded a penalty when Emre Jan tried to head the ball but it bounced straight into his hands. Riyadh Marez struck powerfully into his right-hand corner and Marvin Hitz just missed the ball.
Good day!!!
A bit sad about this, but I guess for the sport itself, this was the best... Borussia Dortmund isn't very good at the moment, and their super striker Haaland hasn't scored in six matches in a row. I believe the Manchester City vs PSG semi-final will be very interesting, so even though I cheered for BVB, this is quite okay! :)
