Yep, that's the shirt I wore today, Portugal was playing Turkey in one of the four European playoffs that were held today. I always root for Portugal for sentimental reasons, of course, my first team is Honduras but this time around Honduras was just not up to it, the team plays Panama tonight, a game that only holds any interest for Panama who still has a chance of qualifying.

Yes, North Macedonia beat Italy and left them without the World Cup, a very unusual event, I know that teams from the Balkan countries are usually good, but come on this is Italy, European Champions and at home, this has to be this World Cups biggest surprise. Also, the Scotland-Ukraine match has been postponed to June, and Poland qualified after FIFA said Russia could not play.
So this is how the finals for the three spots will be, the first team will be the host:
Portugal - North Macedonia
Wales - Scotland/Ukraine
Sweden - Poland
So the Wales-Scotland/Ukraine winner will be the last team to qualify for the World Cup. As for myself I am rooting for Portugal, but would not find it unpleasant if North Macedonia manages to go all the way.
Great win it was for Portugal, watching the game from afar I was really happy with both teams performance.
