Tottenham-Liverpool, the game I was waiting for, it started out bad for Liverpool with Son scoring a goal in the third minute luckily it was not allowed because of one of those millimetric offsides, was it or not, no way I could be sure. After this there was also a possible penalty for Liverpool when the defender grabbed Firmino's shirt, again difficult to say if it was I think the referee was right to not get into that kind of problem. But Liverpool were playing good now and in the fourth overtime minute Mane gave Firmino a pass which ended in the first goal. First half ended 0-1.
The second half started with a second minute Trent Alexander Arnold goal, his first in a long time. But Tottenham came back fast two minutes later from a nice shot by Hoejbjerg. Tottenham seemed to control the game for a while but eventually Liverpool struck back with a Salah goal, this was disallowed because of a Firmino hand way before the goal happened, in any case the referee said no goal and gave the ball to Tottenham, I have no idea why because even though Firmino did hand ball Dier handled it first so the ball should have been for Liverpool.
But eventually Trent Alexander Arnold threw a wondeful pass for Mane to score the 1-3. This is the first time Liverpool have beaten Tottenham 6 times in a row in the EPL. It also gives us fans some relief after all the bad results we have been having. I still figure on City winning it but I hope Liverpool can put up a good fight. This was one great game by the way, both teams played extremely well.
