Hello football community,
After the champions league group stages came to an end, the next big thing we were all anticipating was the champions league draw. This is where we know which teams will be facing each other in the round of 16.
This draw is supposed to be quite fair and just but there are always others who doubt the authenticity of the champions league draw. There have been countless speculations that this draw has been made to only allow them to fix high profile teams together to create massive publicity.
How come players that are in the spotlight such as Ronaldo and Messi would almost face each other twice in a row? Is it just a coincidence?
We witnessed today that the Champions league draw was made void by the officials following a "technical problem" that had occurred. This also occured shortly after it was noticed largely that they had paired the two biggest soccer stars for another time.
If this suspicion is true, then it is very much ruining the game of football which we all adore so much. This is because a predetermined set of matches would be drawn for us to just witness.
With that said, I would like to express just how much I think we will enjoy the fixtures as I see some exciting ones like Real Madrid vs PSG, Liverpool vs Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid vs Man United, Villareal vs Juventus and Bayern vs Leipzig.
I believe these games would be quite interesting ones but ones again football can surprise us and the underdogs will emerge victorious.
I can't wait to see them in actions.
This will definitely be an enjoyable one. The game between all these teams are going to be really interesting.
