If there's been any coach that has been sacked the most in the history of football, it is Jose Mourinho. Jose Mourinho has been sacked by many football clubs because of poor delivery. Just recently, Tottenham Hotspur relieved him of his duties as head coach.

After Pochettino left Tottenham Hotspur for Paris St. Germain, the club needed someone to take over the role of head coach and it happened that Jose Mourinho was being awarded the contract. His contract is supposed to expire in 2023 but it appears that Hotspurs are underperforming.

Mourinho is actually a great coach although I personally do not like his defensive tactics although it works for him sometimes. He has won many trophies both in English league, Spanish league, Italian league and others. He believes in defending and then counter-attacking the opponent. He doesn't prioritize attacking football.

This we can see in the recent game play of Tottenham Hotspur. These guys were usually playing attacking football in the days of Pochettino and they were usually being feared. But this changed as Mourinho took over and it hasn't landed the club very well.

Tottenham hasn't been performing so we'll this season. So far, they are not sure of playing in the Champions League next season and they got eliminated in the Europa League competition. So, no silverware for them this season. In the Premier League, they are 6 points away from the top four spot.

Ryan Mason will lead Tottenham as interim manager following Mourinho's sack. Let's watch and see how Mason's reign will impact Tottenham Hotspur.

His sack isn't a surprise. The handwriting has been on the wall for a long time.
