QUESTION
In the world of football, there are always instances where fans feel cheated by the referee’s decision. This makes some people think there are some favoritism and other unfair decisions in the sport. Some also argue that these errors might not be deliberate.
Do you think there could be a game of football without any mistakes in the part of the referee?
Any reward that will be received on this will go to help boost our community steem power.
THANK YOU!

For a long time it has been tried that referees can decide in the most correct way possible, to try to achieve this they are prepared, they must pass physical tests and be aware of the current rules of football, as changes often occur, in addition to this technology has been used as a means to avoid common errors that affect the game, but even so this has not been possible, since in many cases it all depends on the perspective of the referee, although some technologies have helped there are still errors or mistakes by the referee; as some say human errors are part of football, nowadays the VAR has also been criticised a lot and even so the mistakes still happen, although it has helped it has not been a solution in its entirety, these mistakes in football have led clubs and national teams to win tournaments or matches for a long time, either by a penalty or by an illegal play, just remember Maradona's hand of God, my conclusion is that we will continue to see this type of refereeing errors as part of the essence of football.

I believe there's the concept of a mistake of a referee will always be subject to debate.
Even with the Introduction of VAR which was to advance solving a lot of this problems, human will always be humans and will always grumble.
I think you can only make mistakes to a certain point, but I do not believe there can be a 100% perfect decision making.
There will always be that decision that has a double view to the fans depending on who you're supporting

Good day great people of World of football Community! The possibility of referees to officiate a match without mistake is slim because they are human beings. I equally believe that this little little mistakes made during matches by referees has a kind of colour it brings to the game, but when these mistakes becomes too much it now makes the game to look somehow. I believe the introduction of the VAR to the game was not to entirely wipe out the mistakes, that's why the VAR is only limited to goal check, foul check and maybe penalty check. There is no provision for corner check and throw in check, and these are the places where we find lots of mistakes from the official. If we want to wipe out all the mistakes in the game of football then the time of the game would equally be affected and the game would become boring. For me, it's not possible for referees to officiate matches without mistakes.

Referees are humans an humans make mistakes all the time. Mistakes in matches were very rampant untill VAR came into the picture which reduced the mistakes.
Yet still, mistakes do happen because certain decisions they take on the field are to their own discretion but later, alot of football fans and analyst claim the referee was wrong. Example when there is in incident in the penalty box, the referees watch the video several times before taking decisions to their own discretion.
It's once in a while that referees don't make mistakes.
Referees will only not make mistakes when such incidents don't happen.

Complicated question but i took my time to digest before answering it. Referees as we all have blood running through their veins and mistakes most times are things that makes football interesting. They are bound to make mistakes and these mistakes brought about the introduction of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) into football. Still yet mistakes happen because their some occasions where the decision of the VAR supercede the of the referee officiating the match and this brings about delay and irrational decisions that carry headlines. Some both parties make mistakes.

Good day everyone. How was your day? Hope you are all doing great this new year!
Firstly, referees are not perfect, and to expect a perfect match is not feasible or in one word, not possible.
You see my friends, the game of football is one of the highest emotional game of all. The desire to win a match by both clubs, can erode proper thinking. So "fair play" is a key ingredient that the game needs. No matter how good the referee is, that insatiable desire to win will always come to play.
Secondly, the laws governing the game is always evolving. The interpretation differing from continent to countries. The referees in my view, need time to acquaint themselves with the ever changing rules.
Here comes the deal, technology will come a long way to helping the referees make better decisions. Like I have speculated here, infrared like technology will be the best way to help both the referees and everyone else involved in the game of football.
