Beauties of Turkey. Travertines of Pamukkale.

Hello everyone,

I really liked the theme of this contest. Actually, I wasn't much of a traveler before I got married. It was better for me to spend time at home. After getting married, I thought it would be better for me to travel with my wife. We took a vacation together and prepared a route for ourselves.

Thanks to this plan, we would have the opportunity to see many cities. This experience would be different for me and my wife, as I have seen very few cities in Turkey before. There was Denizli Province in our route. Since Denizli is the place we will stop by at the end of our plan, we could not spare much time here. Those who plan to come here after this post should spare more time to visit Denizli.

The first place that comes to mind in Denizli is Pamukkale Travertines. I've heard a lot about this place on social media and from those around me. So I couldn't wait to come here. When we came here, we had to pay a certain fee at the entrance. We did not pay any fees as it was our Museum card.

We have to take off our shoes after going through the entrance. Because the floors are slippery and little water flows under us. At first, when you take off your shoes and put your feet on the ground, the water and white layer relaxes you.

You can enjoy this place by entering the water in places like many small pools. Here it is said that the clay at the bottom of the pool is beneficial to the body. While we were there, local and foreign tourists were visiting this place.

Then we have to climb up. After this climb, there is a restaurant upstairs for us to listen and have a snack. After resting in the restaurant, we continue our tour.

The statue of Denizli's famous rooster welcomes us here. I would like to briefly tell you about Denizli rooster. It is an animal that is famous for its voice and sings for a very long time when it crows. There are even roosters that faint while crowing. 😊

There is an ancient pool behind the rooster statue. At the edge of this pool, there was a pump to draw water. My wife and I drew water from here, it was a lot of fun for us. We watched people enjoying this ancient pool. The pool had deep and clear water.

Our trip ended here. My suggestion for those who will come here is that Denizli is very hot, so don't forget to bring your hat, water and umbrella. I briefly introduced Pamukkale travertines in Denizli. This is one of the beauties of Turkey. I suggest you visit this place.
