Hi guys,

Introduction

We are already into week 4 of the steemit engagement challenge. This time around steel Azerbaijan has introduced a contest that entreats us to talk about our work life and steemit. Well as I normally do I will remind users that the essence of the engagement challenge is to encourage all users to visit the post of others and leave quality and proper comments. I will like to invite my friends @chenty, @kasib07 and @malikusman1 to come and take part in this wonderful contest.

Well without wasting much time let's get to it.

Tell us about your work life

If I was asked this question in the past, my answer will be I am a student. Today if you asked me this question I will boldly say I am a steemian. Am still in the university though. I am a level 300 student studying computer science. Currently, we have reopened but I am still at home. I want to perform eid prayers at home as I was not able to perform the other one at home.

Whenever I am in school I have less time for steemit because of how demanding the lectures are sometimes. Even though I can make posts (2 to 3) on some occasions, I am not able to visit the posts of users often. But on weekends we do not have classes and we are free. For this trim, I don't have a class on Friday so I will be adding this day to my work life on steemit.

Do you like your job

Well, I would have loved to answer this question with a big yes, but unfortunately, I have not graduated from the University yet talk less of even getting a job. The situation in Ghana makes it very difficult for a tiny graduate to gr a job easily even if you are highly qualified. I hope that in my case it will be different.

I hope that one day when I am asked this question I will be able to say yes, I love my job with a big smile on my face.

Can you make time at work for steemit

Yes, I can and I do that sometimes when I am on campus. I remember there was this time that I wanted to finish a crypto Academy assigned so bad. It stressed the life out of me and I wanted to finish it soon and move ono other things. I had a class since it was a weekday. The only solution was to miss the class and finish the assignment or attend the class which will likely be boring to me because I will be thinking about the assignment.

I decided that I will stay back and finish the assignment and that was what I did. When my coursemates called I told them I was not attending lectures but I didn't tell them why.

Apart from missing a lecture, there are times that I use my phone in the lecture hall. During all these times I always check what is going on in steemit and I try to look for new information which are of interest.

Could steemit be your first job

Steemit as my first job? Definitely. I love working here and for the time being it is my job since I am schooling. I can work here as my job but if I had a job I won't quit it. This us because he how unstableble the market is and I will he risking leaving a stable Income. If I have a job and steemit I will prioritize steemit. That's a fact. I have already missed classes for this platform and I don't mind messing some more if I have a task to finish before a deadline.

Sometimes there are weeks or months were the income is good and there are times that the votes are not coming at all. So if I were to take it as a full-time job quite the job I have it will be a burden on my family as they will not be able to cope. But if am the only one I will be able to deal with the situation.

How is your financial situation?

Well I can say before steemit I depended fully on my parents. But now the burden on them has lessened. This is because they only pay school fees and buy a few provisions. They don't have to spend my pocket money any longer since I make a few withdrawals on steemit to cater for my needs in school.

I am currently in club5050 but am working very hard to get back to club75 status as I was. Since the price of steem is down bad now I am limiting the way am spending so as to force me not to withdraw a lot of steem.

Conclusion

In my time on steemit and with crypto I have realised that it is sometimes better when you have an extra source of income. Therefore I wouldn't advise anyone to quit his job for steemit fully. Some situations might need financial assistance so that you are not forced to power down to solve your problem.

It's nice to hear that you're working on this platform and it's the first thing in your life. And you are now completely dependent on yourself. You are not dependent on your parents, you pay for most of your education yourself. In this case, you do not have to ask your parents for money. I really like hearing that. Also the presentation of your post was very nice thanks.

Am glad Steemit made you a little bit independent, it is not easy seeing all you do, from classes to being a blogger, you just keep roughing it, one day it will be less stressful

Greeting and good luck on your studies

It’s really not easy studying computer science and balancing it with steemit but that hasn’t stopped you at all. You’re very consistent on the platform and with the reputation you’ve amassed it’s clear how hardworking you are.

Thank you for sharing.

You do an important job that requires a lot of responsibility and you manage it together with steemit. All the best
