Already in October 2019 the Splinterlands kickstarter campaign was launched, and since then we, the whole family, @jaki01, @kobold-djawa and our three years old daughter, @steem-queen, were eagerly waiting to finally hold the physical cards and the Encyclopedia of the Splinters written by @chrisroberts and @carrieallen in our hands.
Yesterday the time had come and the joy was huge: the package delivered from the USA had reached our home despite the adverse circumstances caused by the corona virus pandemia.
The cards, and especially their gold foil versions, look fantastic and are of very high quality. The book contains many beautiful illustrations and certainly very interesting texts, although I haven't had much time to read yet.
Special thanks to @carrieallen and @chrisroberts (also on behalf of our little daughter, who was very happy to find herself in the book) for including the figure "PRINCESS JANA" in the encyclopedia (on page 192), which was designed with our wishes in mind. Of course it also would be a great pleasure to see this book character implemented as a playable digital card in future!

Bereits im Oktober 2019 wurde die Splinterlands-Kickstarter-Kampagne ins Leben gerufen, und seitdem warteten wir, die ganze Familie, @jaki01, @kobold-djawa und unsere dreijährige Tochter, @steem-queen, sehnsüchtig darauf, endlich die physischen Karten und die Enzyklopädie der Splinter von @chrisroberts und @carrieallen in Händen zu halten.
Gestern war es dann soweit und die Freude groß: Das aus den USA gelieferte Paket hatte trotz der aufgrund der Coronaviruspandemie widrigen Umstände unser Zuhause erreicht.
Die Karten, und insbesondere deren Goldfolienversionen, sehen fantastisch aus und sind von hoher Qualität. Das Buch enthält viele schöne Abbildungen und sicher sehr interessante Texte, wobei ich bisher noch gar nicht viel Zeit zum Lesen hatte.
Ganz besonders bedanken möchte ich mich (auch im Namen unserer Tochter, die sehr glücklich darüber war, sich selbst im Buch wiederzufinden) bei @carrieallen und @chrisroberts für die Aufnahme der Figur "PRINCESS JANA" in die Enzylopädie (auf Seite 192), bei deren Gestaltung unsere Wünsche wohlwollend berücksichtigt wurden. Natürlich wäre es eine große Freude, diesen Buch-Charakter zukünftig auch als spielbare digitale Karte umgesetzt zu sehen!
Jetzt wünsche ich viel Spaß beim Betrachten der Bilder! :)

Das muss für Jana ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis gewesen sein, sich im Buch wiederzufinden. Bleibt zu wünschen, dass sich die Prophezeiung erfüllt und Princess Jana die nächste "Queen of Life" wird, nicht nur im Buch, sondern auch in der phantsastischen digitalen Welt von Splinterland.

Das hoffen wir auch. Was schon sicher ist, dass die Mama wohl überlegen muss, wie sie die Flugeln herstellen könnte. Das Kostüm für den nächsten Karneval scheint schon festgelegt zu sein. Die Prinzessin hat ihre Wünsche bereits geäußert.
Die Mama hofft, dass sie sie erfüllen könnte 😅.

Hallo zusammen, da hat sich das warten ja gelohnt. Ich wusste nicht was es noch für nette Zusatzfeatures zu dem wohl wirklich gelungenen Spiel gibt. (Habe es nie gespielt, weil ich Angst hatte zu viel Zeit zu investieren)
Das es Eure Prinzessin geschafft hat und Eure Wünsche berücksichtigt wurden gibt dem Spiel doch noch eine ganz besondere persönliche Note. Finde ich sehr bemerkenswert und wunderbar. Alleine wie Ihr beiden mit in die Geschichte hinein genommen werdet ist echt Besonders.

Äh, klar... Da ich mich nie wirklich mit Splinterlands beschäftigt habe, habe ich seltsamerweise nach deiner Beschreibung eine Art Contest angenommen, wo man seine Wünsche einreichen durfte. Ich hätte mal auch den Text der fotografierten Seite lesen sollen, dann hätte ich gemerkt, dass da noch mehr hinter steckt... ;-)
Dennoch bestimmt eine super schöne Überraschung, wenn man das Buch dann endlich in den Händen hält, Life Splinter Jaki.
