Yodin Zaku, the new legendary Fire splint summoner, the last UNTAMED airdrop card, is incredibly strong, and defeating him is a very difficult task, but not impossible.
As we can see, it has impressive stats, being particularly lethal when using arrow cards with the Sniper ability, benefiting twice from increased arrow damage and a greater range of Blast action, hitting several enemies at once.
With his leadership, cards like Fire Beetle, Ferexia General, and the neutrals Mantoid and Centaur have become much stronger. And also the legendary Lord of Fire, for example, it can now have its offensive power increased considerably.
Its only weak point is that it spends 7 mana, but in battles with medium and high mana cap, it seems that you just need to use this summoner, add some snipers, and you have an easy and certain victory. However, it is not always so and we will point out some formations and strategies to try to decrease Yodin power.
We must remember that everything depends on rulesets and mana and that this post is far from complete, however, we can outline some tips in general lines.
Speed
The first point I would like to address is that Yodin does not have +1 Speed, in addition to this the fire snipers(Fire Beetle, Ferexia General), his best option, are also slow, so the idea of using speed to fight him is very promising, if the rule is not Reverse Speed(when he is even stronger), so with a high speed we manage to kill some monsters before they attacks, it will help win.
Zaku's attacks are very devastating, so the longer the fight lasts, the greater your chances of winning, a quick and decisive fight benefits the other team.
Defense
The second point, perhaps even more important, is the need for great defensive absorption of blows. The tank must resist as long as possible, as well as that second card that will receive the sniper attacks.

Shield here is great and the Taunt skill is also very important, as it deflects Sniper and Opportunity attacks (also a strong Yodin resource) by reducing and delaying its damage.
Another decisive factor on these defensive cards is the Return Fire ability, returning part of the damage to the aggressor and thus weakening it.
Thus we can see, for example, that the Shieldbearer card of the Life splint is undoubtedly one of the most effective against this scourge of fire since it has all these 3 abilities that we mentioned.
Life
Cards with a large number of hit points, which have Heal or Triage are also very welcome to survive the explosions longer.

In this way, for example, the Cornealus card is one of the best options, mainly intending to assimilating the damage of snipers, since besides the Return Fire, Reflect Magic, it has the Heal ability.
In partnership with another card with Triage ability (for example Mermaid Healer, Scale Doctor, Khmer Princess, etc.), it becomes even more robust to survive.
Ranged Attack Restriction
Despite the Blast, a very promising possibility against Zaku is to use cards that reduce arrow damage, and in this sense, the summoner Mimosa can be considered your natural enemy.

Cards like Fallen Specter, Soulstorm or Peakrider, Warrior of Peace, and Light Elemental, thanks to the ability Headwinds, are also very useful.
Magic
Finally, one more tip: a little magic can help, considering that one of the tanks most used by Yodin Zaku is the Living Lava due to his Rust ability, and he is quite vulnerable to magic attacks.
Remembering that although his strength is snipers, Yodin can also be dangerous with magic, in this case, the antidote can be Void and Reflect Magic instead of Headwinds and Return Fire.
