What has commonly been described as the Deir Yassin massacre is either a black mark on Israel's otherwise reasonable conduct during the existential War of Independence, or not as clear cut as claimed (perhaps even a blood libel).
What is clear is that the haters take every opportunity trying to hold it up as proof that we are bloodthirsty murderers.
What's more, they have been taking photos from massacres around the world and maliciously try to pass them off as from Deir Yassin (hat tip: Maks).
I present to you exhibit A:
The photo on the top left
is from the Korean war, and shows an uncovered mass grave of South Korean victims who were murdered by North Koreans in Chonju, South Korea.
The photo on the bottom left
is from April 12, 1945. It shows German civilians removing the bodies of prisoners killed in the Nordhausen concentration camp and laying them out in long rows outside the central barracks (Boelke Kaserne).
The photo on the top right
is of origins unknown. It has been claimed to show a number of different things, including the Darmour massacre (when Lebanese civilians were brutally killed and forcibly displaced by palestinian terrorists), one or more massacres in Kashmir, and others.
The photo on the bottom right
shows the aftermath of the May 13, 1969 riots in Malaysia.
But there's more. I present to you exhibit B:
While I have already covered the photos on the top left and bottom right, the remaining photos are further examples of the haters' malicious lies.
The one on the top right
is from 1950, and shows the aftermath of a massacre of South Korean leftists and other prisoners near Daejeon by the ROK police.
The photo on the bottom left
is also from Korea, and shows the results of a massacre at a village on Jeju Island in 1948.
So remember, if you ever come across such photos on social media, first see if I have covered them here. If that fails, you can try a reverse image search.
