After seeing so many hearts these days, it reminded me of a crochet project I did some time ago and had forgotten completely. My YouTube algorithm has also captured my passion for crochet, so I get lots of crochet tutorials there. At a time I spent my time lazily on YouTube, I saw an interesting tutorial of crocheting a heart. It seems to be very easy and it looked like it's only gonna take an hour to make that. So started I quickly with it...
The heart was supposed to be in two colours, so I went ahead with red and white. The tutorial was on the measurements of yarn, but I only had wool. So I could not exactly follow the steps in the tutorial. It was more of a guesswork when I converted measurements in yarn to wool. I was done with two red and white pieces after all that guesswork.
Next part was the fun part. I was supposed fold those two pieced and crisscross them to make the heart shape. When doing that only I realized, I have made it lengthier than it was supposed to be. I sort of expect that because I didn't have the exact measurements with me. I was able to manage somehow.
And I like the final product because it looked cute. I think I can get the right size when I'm doing it next time by comparing it with this one.
Thanks for reading!
Have a nice day!
