I have been thinking to buy another router ever since I started to stay in a boarding. But it was always me just thinking without really acting out. I could use uni wifi when I was in uni and I used hotspot when I was in my boarding room. I didn’t face much trouble with hotspot, so I kept using it in that way.
But now, no matter how much data I recharged for my phone, it just doesn’t seem enough. Data is like just vanishing it into the thin air and I realized that I spent thousands for data per month and I don’t seem to get enough data for that sum. So I thought that it was finally time to turn my plan to buy a router into action.
I’m a very techno-ignorant sort of a person, so I asked one of friends to order a router for me. At first, I thought of taking a portable router, but it was a bit expensive and I didn’t want to invest more money for that at this point. And my friend also told me that if I only need to keep it in the boarding a normal router would do because I have a router in home also. So I settled with a normal router. My order was delivered the following day itself since I put a Colombo address, but I didn’t know what to do with it😵💫 I brought it when I met my friend and asked him to do what was needed to be done. Asking him for instructions alone would have been sufficient, but I decided to be dependent by asking him to do the settings because my brain just can’t get hold of it.
After the setting was done, I brought it back to my place because I only needed to turn it on and connect it to devices after that which is something anyone could do 😅 I reserved a spot for it on my table as a form of giving a warm welcome to it. And I think I did a very useful purchase after a long time.
