New plans that were not in my bucket list

I’m not a person who would make my present a torture with the aims that I set to make a better future. I prefer working for the aims in a way that I enjoy following those without pressuring myself. What I wanted to do after my degree is actually something else, I changed my plans as the circumstances change. My new plan was to work at a school, even though I faced interviews for universities and got offers from them. I selected two schools to teach young adults and only apply for those two and got chosen for one.

I was asked to join at my earliest, so I started my preparations like a lunatic. When I say prepare it is not with the syllabus or lesson plans as I’m already familiar with it, what I wanted to be prepared with is dresses and accessories as I want new things for a new start. I have a huge saree collection of which I own only a few but I have the access to my mum’s, big sis’s, maternal and paternal grandmamas’ sarees. I bought two sarees just to make myself feel the “newness”. I continue to shop for a bag that would be big enough to carry students’ exercise books to be marked, a lunch box and a water bottle until all started laughing at me saying I’m getting ready to go to school as I'm starting my grade 1. The joke went to the length of my fam joining to drop me to school on my first day saying they are dropping the kid to the school 🙈

Jokes apart, I would like to start new chapters with a fresh mindset and an exciting tone, and my personalized way to do that is carrying my bubbly version with new accessories. So my unplanned new chapter started in an exciting tone for me!
