Tried the new restaurant at our hometown| 5% for SL Charity.

When my big sis and I went to Ambalagoda, we saw that a new place was undergoing some renovations. Judging from the interior we assumed that it had a high chance to be a restaurant. And then typically, we forgot about that.

We recently (not so recently) went ambalangoda to do some purchases and saw that the new restaurant has been opened for quite some time. And it name if I had grasped it correctly was "kokiya" It was drawing closer to lunch time, so we two thought of giving it a shot.

We went to the upper floor to dine in. The interior looks more suitable for a group of people rather than only for a duo because they have allocated the majority of the space to the large tables. Since we are new to the place, we ordered the basic which is a chicken fried rice. We ordered a large portion and it was more than sufficient for us two. But they didn't have the dessert options that was in the venue. We who wanted to try some cream caramel was slightly disappointed but what to do...

Eagerly.. Nahh.. Hungrily waiting for food!

I like the place it was situated and we could look through the big glasses while we were eating. Overall, it's decently okay place when considering the interior and the food.
