What I went through for these “clicks”

Two areas where my contentment arises during a trip is enjoying my outfit checks and taking some good pics. I will take time to get myself dressed until I feel satisfied and I would be restless until I got capture a good picture in that fit. This trip was lil special as I went kinda above and beyond for pictures.

I had this particular wrap around maxi skirt and blouse which I have only wore once together (I have worn the skirt twice) because I have reserved that to wear it to the beach. Well.. it was very specific than just the beach as I wanted to wear that skirt to the beach where there are lots of rocks too. After making my two piece outfit rest in the closet for two years, I finally decided to wear it to my trip to Unwatuna. The beach area of the hotel was exactly the rocky beach side I expected. So I wore that outfit when we planned to go to the beach area while we would wait for our second day lunch buffet. The rocks seem a lil slippery but being a lecturer to a batch full of guys came handy. One kid and me taken upon the job role of each others’ photographer and another waited to give a hand in case I slipped. I found a big rock surrounded by water all over for the first pic. I could only take 2-3 pictures when a big wave splashed over the rock where I was sitting, making me fully drenched from top to bottom. I was about to give up when my colleague and photographer students asked me to keep going since I got drenched anyway.

This is exactly one second before I got fully drenched.

I could take some nice pictures after that even though I became the victim of plenty of more big waves. Out of them, my fav one was the following. All credits go to my students as - quoting from his exact words he told that – “Ma’am if you can go over there, it will look so sick”. I didn’t want to go to that rock first since it’s bit towards the sea and it was lil higher than the previous one, but my student reassured me that it would be safe. I thought of giving it a try cz I knew that I won’t get another chance in the future with my sis with whom I usually hanged out. As he told, I loved the picture that we took there.

I had to change my outfit not soon after 1 hour of wearing it. But I suppose, the pics that I could take worth it since they were to my liking.
