I visited the Belihul Oya - Hirikatu Oya joint which is in Belihul Oya village, Sri Lanka. It is one of the beautiful but unrecognized locations in Belihul Oya area. It is located nearly 5 Km away from the Belihul Oya village.
This place is a small place compared with other beautiful locations around this area but it has an iconic geographical feature. Specially, a small stream of water cascades across a river bed formation with rock makes an amazing view. Specially, due to the current rainy conditions in Belihul Oya area, there was a beautiful water flow in the place. Also, there is a nearly bridge in this place which is directed to a nearby village. The water flow cascades from the top and reaches near the bridge which moves to a wide area where water flows very slowly which adds a great view for the passerby.
If you are looking for this place, this place is located 5 km away from the Sabaragamuwa university of Sri Lanka. In order to reach this amazing place, you have to move along the Kinchigune road, passing the Sennya resort (Left side road). You can easily reach this place by a vehicle or even on foot. If you are looking for a place for relaxation, this will be an ideal place.
