Our little Journey to see Diyaluma water fall

We all know Diyaluma falls ryt? It's located in 13km away from wellawaya town in between wellawaya and koslanda. It's a wonderful creation of nature as it's flowing from a huge height being the second highest waterfall in sri lanka. I've visited it two three times by now. So today is the third time if my memory is correct.

The waterfall itself like a slow motion video. It comes down very slowly and I was amazed to see the beauty it creates by scattering white colour water after kissing that huge rocks. May be it's like a soft cloud. Today we got the chance to get down in to the water coming from the waterfall, which looks so fresh and pure. We spent sometime there, but did not take the risk of facing flash floods since this is rainy seson. rocks on the water was so slippery and there is a risk of falling down either.

After visiting waterfall we went for a lunch at Kauma's boat kitchen, a popular boat restaurant in wellawaya. We had a special reson for this journey, as it was my birthday yesterday. Praveen came from colombo and my little sister, praveen and myself were there, celebrating my birthday.
