Hello Steemians!

Well... First, I should say this is a great contest where we can learn and share so many things regarding life management and this is my entry to the contest. Though I have nothing so much to write I felt like I should participate in this to share my little things that might be helpful for you.

Life is something wonderful that we are given and we should be known how to spend it effectively. In this journey of life, we seek happiness and we try to achieve success. These two things depend on planning and behaviour in our lives.

Always Set SMART Goals

Goals & objectives are what keep us alive and motivate ourselves to achieve success. If there is no purpose to life, it is meaningless. Sometimes we have to change the time frame in which we hope to achieve the goals with what we have to face. But the main thing is to have a purpose. So, we have to make them SMART.

Our goals should be,

S – Specific

M – Measurable

A – Attainable

R – Realistic

T – Timeliness

This is not as complicated as it seems. We can set SMART goals for the next 5 years, 10 years or any year and even in everyday life. The best and easiest example is as an undergraduate, I do this thing when my semester exams are approaching. I plan how much I can study in a day, how long it will take to finish a lesson and how I will study the difficult lessons. In that way, I will definitely finish the things I hope to study in a day by the end of that planned time. I always stick to my schedule but I will revise it if I need to.

When we set goals, the first things to do is thinking widely and believing in ourselves. And then we should write them down in a paper or list your goals in an image and apply it as the desktop background as it visible to you always. See the big picture. See yourself in the next 5 years. Plan everything & work hard.

Time Management

Time management is the efficient use of time to get the most out of it. Therefore, I always try to do something without being idle and sometimes it is working for me. But I always have it in my mind to do it no matter how useless. As a result of this, I formed my Telegram group and by now it has come to a better level than I imagined. This is because I recently realized that I was wasting too much time, I could actually see the meaning of the term ‘wasting’. So I wanted to bring it up to a level that I can’t distinguish the difference.

Positive Thinking

Honest, I’m going to pass on this one. Because, just like Matthew McConaughey says in True Detective, I consider myself a realist. But in psychological terms, I’m a pessimist.

Prioritize Tasks

Another thing is I always try to complete my important tasks first. Then it helps me to get rid of the weight on my head. The reason why I say that is sometimes I do less important tasks first and think I completed things while I am missing some more important tasks to do and that’s not a good thing. That leaves us with a lot of work to do and when that happens we get too stressed.

Self Care

“Love your self first, because that’s who you’ll spend the rest of your life with.”

As an undergraduate, I have to face a lot of things during this period. They are unpredictable. When that happens, sometimes the pressure is too much. With those things, we may miss ourselves. But without doing so we must love ourselves. It is important to have meals on time and get a night of adequate sleep.

Sleep directly affects our mental health. I usually get about 8 hours of sleep a day. Otherwise, it makes me feel sleepy during the day and it hinders me from working. It is bad for our health if we skip our meals. Lack of proper nutrition can make us feel tired and lazy quickly. So self-care is very important. Otherwise, we will not be able to carry out our duties properly.

That's good really we need to select the proper time. Some people sleep in a daytime, I don't think it is productive.

This is important. I also saw some other entries also highlight this factor. This sends positive signals to our brain.

The meaning depends. Some may see handling the telegram group (I'm talking about your one) is a waste of time, as you are online always and repeating the same thing. I thought so early. But then after I got to know you, I realized that, it is your way of making your satisfaction

I am agree with you. Less sleeping is injurious to health. At least 6 hours, we should asleep per day.

This is a great post!
If we don't set goals, how will we be successful? We must be clear about where we want to go, and be intelligent with this, if we cannot measure it we cannot see if we are progressing or not.
On the other hand, I believe in the phrase that says: "If you never seem to have enough time is because you don't know how to use it"

That's exactly how I feel.
