How My Sunday Went!

Today, I am going to share how my Sunday went. Our weekdays are almost consistent and follow the same routine. On the other hand, weekends are usually the same as well. Each time, we try to add something delightful to the weekend, but most weekends remain the same.

This weekend, I thought of engaging a little in gardening to break the monotony. We spent the whole day on Saturday cleaning up our living area, and I allocated Sunday for a bit of gardening work.

After preparing breakfast, I decided to put some fertilizer on our garden plants and water them. I used Yaramila as the fertilizer since it contains all three elements needed for plants.

While I was filling the water bucket, Brown, our dog, came to distract me. Whenever I stay outside, he always tries to play and jump on me, but a few drops of water can scare him away. So, I managed to water the plants peacefully.

Last year, we planted some chili plants that produced crops throughout the year. However, the yield wasn’t enough to meet our needs entirely.

This year, my plan is to have a proper vegetable bed where I can grow enough vegetables for our consumption.

So, today I planted a few more vegetable seeds to germinate.

Around 11, we went out to Ambalangoda to buy some things. We needed to purchase gifts for a newly-wedded couple. We visited multiple shops and bought a few gifts for them. We had lunch outside.

Once we got back, we had to restock the fridge with the new vegetables we had purchased.

That’s how my Sunday went.
