A Little Christmas Touch to Our Living Room!

It is already the 11th month of the year. Time is closing to my favorite time of the year. It is Christmas! Even though I am not a Catholic I still enjoy the vibe of Christmas. For the past few years in the time we spent at university and in Colombo, we started to like the Christmas spark.

I loved the vibrant colors of Christmas with glamorous lights and also the feeling it gives. So this year, as we have our own house I decided to do some simple Christmas touch-ups to our house.

I mainly wanted to change our sofa cushion covers to Christmas colors. I checked a place where I can buy suitable covers but most of Facebook and Instagram shops had unnecessarily high prices for simple cushion covers. The order came within 4 days. The first thing inside the package was three cushion covers.It had three 45cmx45cm Christmas-themed cushion covers. Two for our L sofa we frequently sit and one for our main sofa to balance the color inside the living room.

I had ordered two bouquets of Christmas flowers to replace the flower vase we had on the dining table. The flower was much bigger than I expected and it came perfect for the alternative glass vase we had.

Thirdly I had ordered two refrigerator handle covers which came in also in red color. For our kitchen, we already had some reddish touch so the refrigerator handlers and red color patterned mugs were the only things we added newly.

The new change added a new look to the living room and actually, it was kind of a motivation to live. I am planning to keep this decoration until the start of the New year. I wish I could buy a small Christmas tree too.
