A Lazy Weekend

As we always try to spend the weekends together when we have time, this weekend also we planned to meet again. Most of the time we meet at Colombo. This week we didn’t had any plans for going for movies or shopping. Instead we decided to sit somewhere and have some discussions on few plans we wanted to work on.

So we went to the Vihara Mahadevi Park. I like that place because it is very calm and greenly in the middle of a busy city. The day before I made some chicken patis to bring to Imantha. He likes to eat those food made specially by me 😉.

I received some gifts from his Mom which she has selected for me specifically and sent. And I like those gifts. She is very caring and lovely.

After spending some time there, then we decided to go on the lunch. We haven’t tasted pizza for a while, that’s why we decided to eat one. Imantha found a good place for pizza. That place was different. Different in a good way. It had a Italian vibe. There was a singer with a guitar entertaining the customers. And the pizza is baked in wooden oven, not in the electric ovens.

We choose two different flavors and both were delicious. Those pizza toppings we choose had Sri Lankan taste in it. But it was different from many famous pizza brands we know. They have added quality ingredients in it.

We both were happy for the choice of eating from that place. We decided to go home early. As usually we do, we didn’t walk much day. That’s why I told, it was a lazy weekend 🙊.
