It is not easy but relaxing

It is believe that people with strong right brain loves right brain are good in ……….. skills while strong left brain are better in ………… things. It is confusing all the time to select what side I am on. I love Mathematics and analytical thinking that’s why I selected Engineering as my degree, yet I love crocheting, crafting, painting, sewing, writing etc.

I always wanted to do crafting. I had a dream to start my own craft shop when I grew old. Hope I am on somewhere middle of it. As things are not getting good in the country, we are in a frustrated situation. Somehow, we need to stand.

So, I wanted to drag forward, what I began. I started working on my page again and we published some items. I got an order for a cotsheet pack from a nearby living friend. With that I again got an order for a baby mobile from a school friend. I published it yesterday.

We have to finish another cotsheet order this weekend and that is from another university friend of mine. She is one of my best customers. I began work last week, but padding stock was over. Buying padding from Ambalangoda is not feasible but I tried. Nowhere to find.

So I have to buy them from Galle as usual. Going Galle for just one thing is an additional cost. So I decided to postpone that for this weekend. I have list to buy now. Only thing is the cost. Everything is double priced now. But I cannot double the price of my products as most of my customers are my friends.

So I had to deduct from the ratio I allocate for the making cost/ labour cost. That means my profit goes down. Only option is to find some place to buy good materials for lesser prices. Let’s see what we can do.
