Kanchu's Wedding

As I said you all earlier this is a wedding season. Most of schoolmates and batchmates got married recently. So, I had to attend few weddings within these two weeks. First one was Kanchu's wedding. It was held at Orenco, Ambalangoda. As it was not much far, I went with my dad.

@rasinkani could not participate though she was invited to the wedding as she had her wedding scheduled for the following week. Nawoda could not attend as he was not able to take a leave on that day. But I could not ignore as he was my close friend.

I contacted another friend, Pavithra. She is my classmate too. I got the arrival time from her and planned myself to reach there at that time. I had to wait another five minutes for her. She was with another one from my school. But we had to wait outside for another 15 - 20 mins until some other friends arrive.

There were many of my school friends, whom I have not seen in years. I could not even remember some of their names as I had no clue of them for years. But still felt same even after ages. I missed my usual gang though. They could not attend the wedding. They are always funny and relaxing.

Bride was really beautiful. Groom was my close friend. So, I was invited from his side. I called him Arther, character from famous Merlin TV series, and he called me Merlin. So we were always fighting. I have threatened him telling that I will kill him. 😂 But never happened, so he got married on 20th April to his love.

We ate, had photographs ( bother Suranjan to take photos), dance and had fun. It was really fun to meet friends after ages. Years back, we met everyday. Then it was for months. Then we organized events to get together with friends. Then we became really busy with our own lives. We kept in touch with only handful of friends. So we missed others. Live has changed.
