My dear friends, today I have come here to share some uncommon flower-related facts. Flowers are a very beautiful gift we get from nature. It has different shapes, colors, and smells. They have a magical ability to make our world a bright and lovely place. The majority of people believe that flowers are only used for decoration and beauty, but that is not correct. But there are some interesting and uncommon facts. Today I attempt to share those uncommon facts with you.

Did you know that flowers have their own means of communication despite not being able to speak like people? They release a unique scent in an attempt to draw butterflies and bees. To indicate to insects where the nectar is, certain blooms change color.

In addition, some flowers get human-like sleep patterns at night. When the sun sets, they close their petals, and in the morning, they reopen them. They reportedly take this action to preserve their energy and protect their pollen from moisture.

You know some flowers can move. Sunflower is the best example of that. They move their heads from morning to evening to follow the sun. Sunflowers need more sunlight to grow better, and for that, they move their heads to the side of the sun.

You are aware that all the flowers have no good smell. As you are aware, Titan Arum, which is called the corpse flower, has a bad smell like rotting meat. But they can attract more insects and flies that help in pollination. Reference.

Flowers grow in space; did you know that? Indeed, in 2016, zinnias were grown by astronauts on the International Space Station. They did so because they wanted to know that the plant could survive in space.
