A Special Location in our village | 20% for Sl-Charity

Some locations are very quiet and feeling nicely to our soul and body. In these kinds of atmospheres, we can keep our problems bit away for a moment. I think you all may have this kind of experiences in your life.
This is an amazing Buddhist temple located in our village area. In this month (May 2021), in my vacation period I could be able to get there because we had a morning almsgiving to the temple. This temple is called as a “Thumbathanna Sri Sidhdhartha Viharasthanaya ”.

That day, I woke up at around 04.00 AM because we have to prepare foods for almsgiving with my mom. I helped her to prepare it. After that early morning we go there with what we prepared. We were able to see main Thero is sweeping leaves in "Bomaluwa". Then we go there and worship Thero as a tradition.

Firstly, we present almsgiving to Lord Gawthama Budhdha. And we worshiped Lord Gawthama Budhdha. After that almsgiving present to the Theros .

In this climate is very cold due to located position of the temple. It is located on the top of the small mountain. Cold climate gave enchanted to us in the morning. In this temple consist with larges Hiti Pilimaya and also that temple consist with Bodhiya, stupa & Budhugeya.

The surrounding of this location is very beautiful. We can see Samanalawawa in one side and university of Sabaragamuwa in other side. So, it is nice to see them.

Sri Lankan peoples are really like to worship different temples around the country. Then any one can come to our village temple any time and can take different feeling to you.
