Weekly report: How much STEEM is stored on the exchanges? - March 5, 2020

The charts below show how much STEEM is stored on each exchange where STEEM is listed.

• A lot is going on at the exchanges! Justin Sun moved a few million STEEM of Steemit Inc.'s stake to Binance while other people withdrew their STEEM away from Binance. In the end, the amount of Steem on the exchanges has not changed much this week. The big change, however, is that most STEEM on Binance, Poloniex and Huobi is not liquid anymore. It is now vested as Steem Power.

• There is now 97.3 million Steem stored on the exchanges, while there is only 81.5 million liquid Steem. The exchanges should power down asap.

• Upbit is back! Deposits and withdrawals have been re-enabled for Steem.

• KuCoin is planning to list Steem on their exchange. That's great news of course! :-)

• If you compare the chart of Binance with my previous reports of the exchanges you might notice a discrepancy. It turned out I had an error in my calculations. The charts of Binance in my previous 'Weekly reports of the exchanges' are incorrect. Too bad! I fixed this bug, so the charts below should be correct.
